The spookiest month of the year is just a week away and its time to cue the creepy news stories!

Six people will compete in Six Flags St Louis Fright Fest 30-Hour Coffin Challenge by staying in a ‘slightly used’ coffin from1 p.m. Oct. 13 to 7 p.m. Oct. 14.

Six Flags in Missouri is giving six people the chance to compete in the creepiest endurance challenge. 30 hours in a coffin, and there’s no word on whether or the coffin lid will be open or closed.

So you might be wondering, what are you supposed to do when ‘nature calls’ during those 30 hours? Thankfully, the contest organizers aren’t being THAT cruel. Once an hour, the poor unfortunate souls will be allowed just one six-minute bathroom break. Food and water will be provided, and contestants will be allowed a friend to keep them company during the day. But what about in the middle of the night? Sounds like you’ll be on your own. Guess you can try to sleep, but that doesn’t sound likely.

What’s the amazing prize these people are going to try to win? Two 2019 Gold Season passes to Six Flags St Louis, a Fright Fest package that includes two VIP Haunted House passes and a ticket for two on the Freak Train, as well as $300.

If there is more than one winner, the $300 will be awarded by random drawing.

Oh, and you get to keep the coffin too.

Think you could do it? Why not sign up then?
