Video surveillance shows two male suspects  gaining entry to the machines without causing any damage. One suspect concealed his identity by wearing a hoodie while the second suspect made no attempt to hide himself from the cameras.

The suspects can be seen on our Facebook fan page and drove away in a newer compact SUV, dark in colour, with no visible license plates.

Zika Virus Sexually Transmitted- Ontario

An Ontario resident is believed to have the country’s first confirmed case of sexual transmission of the Zika virus.

Zika is primarily spread through the bite of an infected mosquito, but a growing number of infections in the world have occurred through sexual transmission. Ghomeshi Trial

The Attorney General’s Ministry says there are no grounds to appeal the acquittal of former CBC radio host Jian Ghomeshi on sexual assault and choking charges.

In a statement, ministry spokesman Brendan Crawley says it was clearly a difficult case for everyone involved but a review of the ruling and case turned up no legal basis upon which to appeal.

Ghomeshi’s acquittal sparked courthouse protests, with some groups arguing that the cross-examinations his three female accusers faced would only serve to discourage victims of sexual abuse from going to the police.

The ministry statement says the Ontario government takes the issue of sexual violence and harassment seriously and is committed to strengthening supports for survivors. (The Canadian Press)

Fourteen Indonesians are among more than 20 people currently held hostage in the southern Philippines.

Among them is Canadian Robert Hall, held captive since last September when he and fellow Canadian John Ridsdel were taken from a marina hotel.

Just yesterday, the militants beheaded Ridsdel and dumped his head on a roadside in the southern Philippines.
