POLICE HIGH SPEED CHASE
Quinte West OPP, have two people in custody following a high speed chase on the 401 yesterday afternoon.  Police had received reports of two people who were wanted on outstanding Robbery arrest warrants traveling along the 401. Police began pursuing a Toyota Camry, after the driver exited the highway at Marysville and refused to stop when OPP officers from Napanee attempted to pull the vehicle over.  Police had to use a spike belt to stop the vehicle on Deseronto road.   A 38 year-old woman from Chatham Kent and a 31 year old man from Windsor were arrested.

MISSING PICTURES
Police are asking your help in locating two suspects wanted in the theft of pictures from the lobby of a Kingston apartment building that dates back to mid-November. Police say a man and woman in their mid to late 20s walked into the building where the female removed three pictures from the wall above the mailboxes. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.

STOLEN GUN FOUND
A rifle and a pellet gun stolen from a Prince Edward County home earlier in the week have been recovered.  OPP say a man returned to his home Monday about 10pm to find his place had been broken into.  In addition to the two guns, jewelry and electronics were also taken.   A 36 year old man known to victim has been charged with break, enter and theft, as well as possession of property obtained by crime.

POLICE SEEK TWO NICE GUYS
Kingston Police want to speak to two male witnesses who heard and responded to a cry for help from a female victim of a sexual assault in progress early New Years Day. In the early morning of January 1st, the victim had just left The Spot Nightclub” with a man she had just met that evening. He tried to assault her in a nearby covered walkway. She resisted and screamed for help. A group of men heard it and responded.  The suspect quickly fled the area but was apprehended a short time later. Police are looking to speak to the witnesses to obtain as much evidence as possible.  —

TOYS R US THEFT
Kingston Police need your help in finding three suspects wanted in connection with a theft at Toys R Us Last month. On December 12th,  a man and woman pushing a shopping cart with a child in it approached a cashier. As they spoke with the store employee they put merchandise in the cart, but under items they had already paid for.  A second man approached and also placed unpaid items in the cart. When it was time to pay they short changed the cashier by $350, and they got away with over $300 worth of unpaid toys. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
