Memorial Centre – School

Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson says the only way to reconsider the Memorial Centre as a site for Kingston’s new high school is to get a councillor to make a motion for reconsideration.

That motion would have to come from a councillor who voted against using the Memorial Centre property.

Paterson made the comment to a meeting on the new high school organized by the parent councils of both QECVI and KCVI.

QECVI student council co-president Andrew Blower asked what research was done before council decided the Memorial Centre property should be off the table.

Paterson admitted it did no research.
